Virtual Simulation Evaluation!!

The Clinical Learning Environment Comparison Survey (CLECS) was updated to reflect screen-based simulation due to the current covid-19 situation. It is now called CLECS 2.0. For those who are unfamiliar, the original CLECS was used in the landmark NCSBN simulation study.

We have received Ethics Board approval and have begun data collection. As the nursing students are at home, we are using snowball sampling strategy through social media sites. Kim Leighton, my research partner has posted the recruitment notice on her Linked In page (below).

We would be so grateful if you would share this with your nursing students through any of your social media outlets (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).  Also, please forward to other nursing and simulation educators to help spread the word!

We are trying to reach nursing students worldwide.

Data collection will end on June 30, 2020. You can learn more about the study at: https://lnkd.in/etviTTU  And, of course, we are happy to answer any questions.

We hope you all are well, and thriving during this challenging time.

Kind regards,

Colette Foisy-Doll & Kim Leighton
